Biography
Led by politically opinionated Dr Rober (Robert
Howard) broke through with the U.K. and U.S. Top 40 hit
"Digging Your Scene" in 1986 one of the earliest songs about
AIDS.They went on to place ten singles and four albums in
the U.K. charts between 1986 and 1990.Their biggest UK hit
was `It doesn`t have to be this way`.
In the U.S. they are perhaps best known for the track "You
Don't Own Me," which appeared on the multi-platinum soundtrack
album Dirty Dancing in 1987.
Dr Robert Recorded a duet with Kim Mazelle which was a top
10 hit in the UK in 1989 called `Wait`.Dr Robert
released a solo album in 1996.
