Formed in 1980 by the former Sex Pistols’ manager Malcolm McLaren.Mclaren fronted the group with 14-year-old Annabella Luwin.The jailbait Annabella had her head shaven into a mohican style.Further controversy followed when Annabella was photographed semi-nude on an album sleeve.All of this provided good publicity.Their first Top 10 hit was `Go Wild in the Country` and their follow- up `I Want Candy`also made the top 10.Follow- up singles failed to make any chart impact.Annabella attempted a solo career in 1985 which proved unsuccessful.
